Chinese Black Tea

Black tea is nothing more than the leaves of the camellia sinensis that have been processed in a certain way. Although all teas are made from the leaves of the same plant, black tea, the most oxidized variety, contains more caffeine, and has a stronger flavor than the other ones such as green and white tea, which it can retain for years.

Black teas are the most consumed of the six main types of teas with the complexity and intensity of flavor. Delicious black teas are especially loved in the West. Full-bodied and strong, they taste great alone or with milk and sugar. And they make great iced tea. The caffeine makes them a good morning tea. But unlike coffee, you won’t have the jitters. Of course, like all tea categories, there is huge variation within the type, from fragrant Keemun, to the complexity of Lapsang Souchong and the robust maltiness of Dian Hong (Yunan Black Tea).
