Brief Introduction to
Green Peony Tea

Green Peony Tea is a special green tea made by using unique techniques, which is produced in Huangshan mountain of China’s Anhui province. This hand-tied Green Peony Tea is comprised of only young buds grown deep in the mountains among fresh water springs and cool mists. The highest quality leaf and bud sets are picked in the early spring, carefully arranged in the shape of a flower, and then tied with a silk thread. The green peony tea is carefully hand made by experienced tea masters who select and arrange the best large tea buds and tie them with a silk thread into the shape of a peony flower.

Green Peony is air-dried and roasted, producing a delicate flavor that is suitable for drinking throughout the day. It can be steeped for multiple times. When covered with hot water, the leaves “blossom” to reveal a sweetly floral aroma and a delicate and smooth flavor. To showcase this tea at its finest, we recommend brewing it in a glass or tempered glass cup.

Green Peony makes an impressive finale to a special meal. It also makes a very convenient tea for travelers. Use one flower two times in 6-10 oz of water. It is recommended not to use boiling water for this delicate tea. This tea produces a sweet-smelling, pale gold liquid with a deliciously smooth, floral taste.
