Brief Introduction to
Yue Xi Cui Lan (Green Orchid) Green Tea

Yue Xi Cui Lan (literally as Green Orchid), a newly invented high quality Mist and Cloud green tea, is originally produced in Dabie Mountains located in Yuexi County of China’s Anhui Province. Dabie Mountain area, with an average elevation of over 1000 meters, is suitable for producing teas as recorded in Lu Yu’s “Cha Jing”. The mild climate, fertile soil, abandunt rainfall as well as great day-night temperature difference together provide a very favorable environment for growing tea. Yuexi Cuilan has been awarded many golden medals and prizes even though it just has a relatively short history. The leaves are slender, delicate and a bright vivid green, the scent has notes of orchid fragrance, and the taste is refreshing with flowery aftertaste.
